A person is said to be intellectual who engrosses in precise study, critical thought, and exact reflection about the reality of society, and suggests solutions for the normative problems of society.
In this context, an educator may or may not be intellectual if he/she puts self within or out the society respectively. Intellectuality shows that education is first step to be intellectual and it needs an interaction between educated person and society otherwise education turns into a state of trance.
Albert Einstein said "Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school".
The true meaning of education comes when it reflects society and individuals positively and then person comes into this intellectuality with a bridge between education and society.
A society exists first at person's native place where he/she interacts with it to understand different aspects of living and surviving, manners to be social and rules to be in it. Secondly country who cares for everything to the person to provide education, healthcare, security and others services.
If society is not well to do it then person's education comes to make it rightly with suggestions and implementation with consent of society.
Intellectuality is an hope to make changes in society which removes odds and creates a better environment for all. Rashtrapita Gandhi, Bharat Ratan Dr. Ambedkar, President Dr. Abdul Kalam, Ch. Charan Singh and many other names are under this intellectuality.
